Job overview NHSE/I South East is seeking to appoint 2 Public Health Consultants: Screening and Immunisation Leads (SILs). 1 full time post to cover the Surrey and Sussex locality and one part time (30 hours/week) to cover the Thames Valley locality. Main duties of the job The Screening & Immunisations Lead (SIL) will be responsible and accountable for screening and immunisation system leadership in their locality. S/he will lead on providing advice and support to the commissioning of screening and immunisation programmes on behalf of NHS England. Working with the Head of Public Health Commissioning, s/he will be responsible for meeting the objectives set out in the annual Public Health Functions agreement for a defined portfolio of programmes. The post holder will work as part of a network of SILs who work collaboratively to deliver the section 7a agreement objectives across the South East region. Who we are looking for We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual who can manage themselves and others independently, work under pressure and be comfortable with complexity and change.
