This position is to join our innovative (PSS) programme as an employee of Eurofins. The programme places full-time analysts, technicians, scientists and technical support personnel managed by Eurofins directly at the client facility to provide long term staffing needs while maintaining the same services, expertise and cGMP compliance available at the Eurofins facility. Job Description


Eurofins is currently recruiting for an experienced Analytical Scientist based at our Professional Scientific Services (PSS) site in Moreton, UK.

The main purpose of this job is to perform analytical testing of finished products for the Market Life Stability programme. This requires the generation and reporting of accurate results within a defined timeframe, following ALCOA principles. As an Analytical Scientist testing techniques will include HPLC, Dissolution, Karl Fisher and more. We are ideally seeking a scientist with 2 to 3 year pharmaceutical analysis experience in a GMP laboratory.


Qualifications
  • Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Allied Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience of HPLC for Assay and impurities testing is essential.
  • Stability or QC testing experience is essential.
  • A sound, fundamental knowledge of Chemistry is required.
  • Good understanding of cGMP is essential.
  • Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and analysis is required.
  • Experience with dissolution testing, Karl Fisher water, GC and spectroscopic analysis is beneficial.
  • Experience of Analytical Technology Transfers with internal and external customers is beneficial.
  • Thorough understanding of chromatographic techniques
  • Knowledge of instrument qualification would be an advantage.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes.
  • Ability to work using fully electronic media, including MS Office, Laboratory Execution System and LIMS
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be capable of developing solutions to problems as part of a team.
  • Organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.
  • Passionate about quality and customer service.
