Are you a passionate Science Tutor looking to recude your workload? Do you have what it takes to produce accelerated progress across KS3 & KS4 students? TP Tutors are hiring!Teaching Personnel is looking for an skilled and enthusiastic Science tutor to join a successful Catholic Secondary School in Haydon Bridge. This fantastic opportunity is starting ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year!The successful applicant will be working part-time to deliver targeted science intervention across school. The school will consider work around the availability of the tutor for this part-time placement. You will be working with students either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups of up to six students on a face-to-face basis in school. Tutors will be required to complete sessional reports each tuition group per day. Rates of pay will vary depending upon group size and experience, but will range from £20 to £40 per hour.This school is a larger-than-average sized mainstream catholic secondary school in Haydon Bridge, and is part of a trust of schools across the Northeast. Behaviour is good, teaching and learning is good, and teachers enjoy working there.   • Hold QTS status or equivalent science teaching qualification or have a mathematics degree PLUS relevant science tutoring experience
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Completion of three tuition specific modules on ‘The Tutoring Role’, Face to Face Tuition, and ‘Remote Tutoring’, as well as Safeguarding Training and Prevent Duty Training
