Science Teacher

Science Teacher – The Role:

  • Permanent, full-time Science Teacher position
  • £30,000 - £46,252 annual salary + TLR (varying)
  • To prepare and deliver outstanding lessons, with dedicated feedback to both classes and individuals following all work completed
  • Contribute towards teaching materials and curriculum development
  • Engage with a range of exciting extracurricular activities within your subject specialism and with the aim of boosting attainment therein
  • To ensure student safety and compliance with due process during practical lessons and experiments
  • To cultivate passion within your subject specialism
  • To both manage and positively reinforce student behaviour as and where appropriate

Science Teacher – Pre-Requisites:

  • QTS required
  • Science-related Degree
  • Proven record of delivering high-quality lessons in Science
  • Understanding of GCSE curriculum and mark schemes
  • Knowledge across all three main strands of GCSE Science, though more specifically Physics
  • High-calibre academic background
  • Strong classroom management
  • Good to Outstanding teaching observation grades
