Join a large secondary school in Salford, providing support in the Science department for students aged 11-16.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • Required from September 2021, guaranteed until at least the end of the academic year covering a maternity leave.
  • Teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Paid to teaching scale (£25,714 - £41,604).

Our client secondary school are looking for an additional Science teacher due to a restructured timetable. The incoming teacher will be expected to deliver differentiated Science lessons to pupils at varying levels of learning ability including those additional learning needs such as dyslexia. The incoming Science teacher will be teaching a full timetable up to GCSE level and will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities.

The school has around 1000 pupils on roll and is based close by to Eccles. The school is easily accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas of Salford including Bolton and Trafford. The school is also accessible via public transport from neighbouring areas.
