Join our team at a charming rural school nestled in Harrogate as a Full-Time Science Teacher on a long-term supply contract through Vision for Education. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to inspire and educate our students in the fascinating world of science.
About the role
As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students in hands-on learning experiences and help them develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts. You will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons that cater to a range of learning styles, while fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in science education, with a relevant degree and qualified teacher status. Experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred, but we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who are eager to kickstart their career in education.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
- Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK equivalent teaching Qualification.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
