The School of Biological Sciences has a requirement for a part-time (0.3 FTE) School Support Assistant. The post holder will provide proactive administration support to the Postgraduate Research, Postgraduate Taught and Undergraduate activities across the School of Biological Sciences, and is responsible for assisting the School Admin Team in the effective and efficient running of these areas within the School. The work is varied and interesting and will involve a great deal of contact with the student body, staff and external organisations. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual. You will be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team within a busy but friendly environment. You should have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. You should also have experience in an administrative role, ideally with knowledge and experience of a high education environment.Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 3, £21,197 – £23,715 per annum (pro-rata) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
