The Role

Here at Longhurst Group we want to deliver a range of much-needed homes and vital support services while focusing on our vision to improve the lives of our customers and communities.

As a Scheme Assistant you will help to improve the lives of our customers by assisting in the management of our older persons housing schemed in Rutland.

Your work is vital, this will include compliance testing on site, monitoring standards of scheme-based services such as grounds maintenance and general repairs. With any identified areas you will then liaise with the appropriate contractors to begin remedial actions.

You’ll be a key person for our residents so if you enjoy building relations with people, talking through their concerns and looking for resolutions this would be a great opportunity for you.

As our ideal candidate you will possess a passion for working with our residents and will appreciate the importance of providing great customer service. We are looking for a Scheme Assistant with a strong customer focus who will go that extra mile. In order to deliver service excellence, you must demonstrate empathy, patience, humour and a ‘can do’ attitude.

As a Scheme Assistant You Will Ideally Be

Professional and friendly personality with a commitment to providing excellent customer care.

Have an ability to support residents’ needs and expectations.

Demonstrate excellent communication and administration skills.

Able to support willingness to work additional hours when required.

Able to drive with your own vehicle.
