Your place in the team

As a Data Analyst/Consultant, you will be working with a highly motivated Data Team gaining exposure to leading edge IT Systems (eg SAP ECC/S4 Hana/EWM) and experience working within an IT Consultancy as part of large delivery projects.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with business and document the data requirements.
  • Work with functional and technical consultants to manage the end-to-end object data migration.
  • Ensuring appropriate testing, data quality validations and reconciliation analysis
  • Advising business on data cleansing approaches
  • Analysis of data sets taken from various IT systems (SAP and non-SAP) to identify anomalies and/or difference in the data sets.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
  • Develop and support reporting processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or other related subject

Essential Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills
  • The capacity to develop and document procedures and workflows
  • Excellent MS Excel Skills, VLOOKUP, nested ‘IF’ statements, SUMIF, Pivot tables etc
  • Documenting data requirements in a MS word/PowerPoint and communicating with stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical team members

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using SAP ECC
  • Excellent team working skills and also able to work individually
  • Good prioritisation skills
  • QL skills (Oracle or MS SQL Server)
