Our client, specialists in engineering and fabrication based in Kingsbury Link Tamworth, urgently requires a Sales Representative. Duties include driving companies expansion efforts into new markets while continuing to maintain and strengthen current presence in the rail industry. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, building lasting relationships, and promoting a comprehensive range of fabrication services. Your ability to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and targeting potential clients in industries aligned with our clients fabrication expertise.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle and post-sale support.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals that highlight the unique value of solutions for the client.
  • Participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to expand the reach and brand recognition of the company.

Requirements for role::

  • Proven experience in sales, with a successful track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of the fabrication industry, particularly within the rail sector (experience in other sectors is advantageous).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to listen actively, understand client needs, and provide effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend events

Our client offers:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 0800-1700
  • £27,000 pa
  • Commission
  • Use of a company car
  • Onsite car park
