What you will do

As a consultative and dedicated Vertical Market Sales Manager you will focus on technical sales of our wellhead and hydraulic process control solutions by crafting and sustaining relationships with new and existing global customers including end-users and contractors within the Oil & Gas marketplace. You will lead the sales drive, run the complete sales cycle, and own key client and internal relationships to deliver the revenues to meet the business plan of our production systems business line.

How you will do it

To Be Successful In This Role You Will
  • Build business development strategies to improve sales opportunities in our target markets
  • Identify the best existing accounts to target for growth as well as identifying and converting new account opportunities
  • Conduct domestic & overseas sales visits in the pursuit and development of strategic sales
  • Monitor competitor activities & new developments
  • Be responsible for the complete sales process from opportunity identification to sales closure, coordinating inputs from other business stakeholders
  • Develop a sales pipeline to ensure installation order bookings requirements are met
  • Manage leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce
  • Contribute to our Oil & Gas growth rooms to improve opportunity creation and cross sell opportunities of the Company’s complete product portfolio
  • Continuously strive and find opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure that there is effective and efficient bid management
What we look for

Required
  • Experience and proven track record of technical solution sales (Particular interest in candidates with technical knowledge and experience of sales in Chemical Injection packages, Hydraulic Power Units and Wellhead control Panels)
  • Experience working with Major Oil & Gas customers, both Operators and EPCs
  • Be comfortable presenting technical and commercial information to board level
  • Ability to function autonomously, whilst also being a proactive teammate
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to use resources and engage operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service
  • Ability to create winning plans and bring teams together for mutual success
  • Customer focus oriented
  • Proven track record of achieving results
Preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate ‘value based’ selling
  • Track record of sales within the FPSO market
  • Ability to develop and expand relationships through an organisation
  • Strategic thinker, not afraid to question norms.
  • Knowledge/experience using CRMs, in particular Salesforce.com
