As a Sales Manager – Specialist Sales, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the sales teams within our Specialist Division as part of the UK country sales organization. Working closely with the EMEA business units and segment marketing teams, you will drive profitable growth through integrated business development and sales activities. Your scope of activities will be the electrical power management and energy transition sector.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Play-To-Win strategies for sales teams to meet profit plan targets, accelerate sales pipeline and provide accurate financial and SIOP forecasting
  • Establish strong business relationships with (key) customers
  • Build relationships with business units & product management to assist the development of marketing strategies
  • Have a strong knowledge of product portfolio, applications and route to market/distribution channels
  • Be an advocate of the use of digital tools to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Define performance metrics and evaluates and interprets data to drive performance improvement and productivity throughout the organization
  • Understand the major competitor’s landscape, their tactics, organization, distribution, strategy and pricing
  • Determine best industry practices through collection of customer satisfaction data and benchmarking
  • Have a sound knowledge of Eaton’s financial model including ROS, balance sheet management, cash flow and risk assessment.
  • Coach for success and talent development, using emotional intelligence and situaitonal leadership
  • Build a diverse pipeline of talent for career development & succession planning
  • Ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton’s Zero Incident Safety Culture
Qualifications

Your essential skills we are looking for:
  • Degree of Higher Education required
  • Proven sales leader ideally in the electrical construction, utility or industrial sectors
  • Proven Sales leadership experience
  • A team player, consultative & detailed, driven, resilient & can-do attitude. Positive and energetic.
