We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is looking for their next challenge, do you have experience driving proactive event sales and managing the sales team, our venue is on the lookout for an Event Sales Manager to join us onsite at Beaulieu Motor Museum. the role is based within a beautiful setting in Hampshire.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing wedding sales, build the venues profile in the local markets by creating and executing an exceptional sales plan, conversion, support event co-ordination, manage the sales team.

More About The Role

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the wedding, conferences and events sales
  • Ownership of sales and marketing plan for the venue
  • Marketing and promotional activities for the venue, ensuring all websites and online directories are consistently updated and to brand standards
  • Management and delivery of local corporate account plans (working with BDM)
  • Proactive sales activities for the venue
  • Reactive sales activities for the venue including internal client bookings
  • Accurate sales reports/forecasts and achievement of venue performance standards
  • Management of the onsite C&E Event Planner
  • Communication with central sales team and BDM

Who you are:
  • Previous experience within hospitality sales
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Thorough working knowledge of all key market segments, in particular weddings
  • Aware of local, national and global trends in the wedding industry
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of sales systems & Microsoft 365
  • Managing and developing a team to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
  • Commercial awareness and to be able to understand links between sales and profit
