  • Up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

Through effective coaching and facilitation provide HR and training delivery to managers within a designated area of responsibility. Provide expert HR advice to managers and staff, on the full range of HR policies, practices and procedures ensuring compliance with employment legislation. Assist managers in monitoring and managing performance against service delivery plans.

Working along side the regional HR manager as well as a designated HR team your main focus will be to ensure group assesments are facilitated along side the recruitment manager, and training of all staff is completed and HR files are up to date.

More about the role:

As HR and Training co-ordinator, you will be working with a regional HR Manager but have overall responsibility for managing a small team of direct reports to make sure all HR and training queries are dealt with in a timely manner. You will be dealing with disciplinary and grievance hearings as well as delivering training to fellow colleagues. You will be on hand to assist with and provide paperwork for all HR and training needs. The HR and Training co-ordinator will also be client centric and driven towards meeting their targets and goals.

Who you are:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A CIPD level 3 qualification (or working towards a qualification) is essential along with HR experience
  • Training development and delivery (must have a training qualification)
  • Line manager responsibility
  • Experience of working with unions would be desirable
  • Achievement focussed – ability to set targets and get things done
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and other software
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with people at various levels
