Salary:£24,000 – OTE £50k (Uncapped)

A leading independent financial advice firm covering a wide spectrum of financial planning require an experienced Sales Executive with insurance experience to join their team in Sale.

The Role of Sales Executive - Insurance

The role of Sales Executive involves selling / arranging personal and business protection solutions to new and existing clients of the firm. The role involves sourcing the best value for money comprehensive cover for clients with hazardous pastimes/hobbies or occupations, or in some instances, both.

Through communication with the client, understanding and analysing the client’s circumstances and activities, you will be required to source the most comprehensive cover from whole of market providers. This may involve a pre-sale process and/or discussion with underwriters and re-insurers in order to try and secure the best solution for the client.
The main areas of sport are climbing, mountaineering, scuba diving, skydiving, and motorsports activity. The main types of hazardous occupations are outdoor instructors, rope access technicians, offshore workers, and armed forces personnel, albeit these lists are not exhaustive. The role involves undertaking the entire sales process from initial quote, product placement through application, issuing product documentation, suitability letter to after care through client reviews.

Skills & Experience Required:

· Ideally, you will have experience of working in sales, preferably within financial services/insurance. Knowledge of outdoor activities such as climbing, mountaineering and scuba diving would be preferable but not essential, as training will be provided.

· An understanding of personal and business protection products and insurers would be preferable.

· Good communication capabilities both written and verbal are essential together with confidence in your own ability to sell volume protection business.

· You will need to be flexible, professional, courteous, but ambitious and tenacious, as well as being good at managing your time.

· OTE of £50,000

· Hours Monday – Thursday 9am – 6pm & Friday 9am – 1pm
