The ContextCatalina has been empowering FMCG and retail brands in the UK since 1992. Now, a Team of 32 people, located between London, Leeds and Reading, tend to two of the nation’s biggest retailers. It is in this context and in that of a job creation, with the ambition to develop Catalina UK’s business growth, that we are looking to hire a Senior Sales Manager on a permanent contract. As a new recruit, you will be joining Clare’s team for an exciting adventure and will ideally be based in either London or Reading in a hybrid working environment (remote work possible).We are looking for a candidate who will become a key member of the team since you will join a newly created department dedicated to business development. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a sustainable pipeline of prospects (Physical and E-Commerce Retailers) and providing sales support to drive new business initiatives and our developing digital solutions (Catalina One and Shop & Play). On a given day, your work will focus on three main pillars (Prosect Pipeline Development & Management, Sales and Pitching) and might include:Being proactive in your understanding of the Catalinian ecosystem (Business and Market, Existing Clients, Solutions, Etc.) and on the intricacies of its functioning internally (Teamwork Dynamics, Task Ownership, Etc.) and externally (Impact on Prospective Client Business and its Consumers, Potential Challenges and Opportunities, Etc.)Developing and managing the pipeline of prospective retailers for Catalina digital solutions through the feeding and maintenance of our pipeline (Relevant information, Inbound and Outbound activities, Etc.). For this, you will identify relevant stakeholders within the prospect’s organization and internal pertinent experts to support with specific new retailer conversations.Creating effective pitch presentation through full understanding the retailer’s current proposition, where our solutions add value and the specific retailer problems they answer.

A key component will be closing the sales quickly and moving to a trial. Becoming an expert on Catalina One and Shop & Play, you will be accountable for delivering a revenue target through the selling of these solutions to retail brands. The expertise you will develop will enable you to become a true Customer Success Champion, both, internally and externally, to provide exceptional customer service and become an indispensable trusted partner for customers. We’d make a great team, if you meet the following requirements:You ideally have an experience of at least 3 years as a Sales Manager with a proven track record of success in sales in a target driven environment ideally selling (digital) media to retailers; strong prospection, networking and pipeline development skills and ability to develop business in new and existing accounts.The Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) has no secrets for you, and you dispose of the capacity to create insightful presentations and contribute to impactful reports.As a Sales expert, you will be representing Catalina values and interests; we are therefore looking for self-starter customer obsessed individuals with a great sense of service and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken). A true networking, able to utilize existing and build networks across the UK retail market.
