Our client, a renowned material testing facility in Banbury, is actively seeking a dedicated and proficient Customer Service Representative to enhance their dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their testing projects, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
  • Efficiently manage the booking of work into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, addressing customer queries, and directing calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Generate and process invoices for testing services, maintaining precision in billing and documentation.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities, including the acquisition of necessary materials and supplies for laboratory operations.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in utilizing LIMS systems and other relevant software for data entry and customer management.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a laboratory or technical setting
