The Role
The successful candidate will be a highly organised, responsible, and efficient professional with administrative and sales experience and an affinity with the art world and education. The role will provide support, administration, and create sales for our Online and Continuing Education teams in London, New York and Hong Kong. The role will be client focused and will require excellent sales and communication skills. The candidate will report into the Online Programme Director, whilst reporting the client services to the Marketing Director.
Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Respond to email, phone and live-chat enquiries to provide Continuing Education and Online course information
  • Manage the application process for Online and Continuing Education students and be responsible for converting interested parties into sales
  • Manage the enrollment process for Online courses
  • Pro-actively sell Online and Continuing Education courses
  • Create, update and maintain applicants’ records
  • Be responsible for creating Q&A forms and producing stats based on student responses and comments
  • Working to target-based goals set by the Marketing Director
  • Compile reports and statistics for Senior Management
  • Provide Management with information on applications on a regular basis
  • Work with Marketing Director on updating collateral
  • Work on different in-person events, representing Christie’s Education, throughout the year
The Candidate
  • Educated to A-level (or equivalent) standard with demonstrable experience, ideal for someone who has done a 15 month apprenticeship
  • Previous use of a CRM system is desirable
  • Excellent computer skills including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Multiple languages an advantage
  • Prior administrative, sales and client service experience within a corporate environment strongly desired
  • A professional and friendly demeanor
  • Flexibility, resilience and willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for the art world essential
  • Excellent time management skills
