Are you a motivated and driven, hard working team player with excellent sales, administration and customer service skills looking to join a small busy team?
Here at Pertemps we are recruiting for an established business who is looking to expand on their team in order to offer their customers the best sales and after service across their product offerings.
You will be dealing with customers who are from various walks of life, including trades people so good communication skills and the ability to understand a vast range of products is essential.

This role is full time and a permanent role
Mon to Fri 7am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid break, Paying £20,000 to £25,000 per annum and is negotiable depending on experience based on a 45 hour week.
Knowledge and experience in a trade/joinery/manufacturing environment and sales/service environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Some manual handling will be involved form time to time with stock and deliveries.

General Job Role:Sales Admin/Customer Services/Sales Account Management
This is an office based role for a talented, organised team player who can communicate effectively with both clients and staff members.

  • It will involve working to deadlines, require accuracy and reliability and a good understanding of IT
  • It contains all aspects of sales admin including being responsible for some generic email accounts and the fulfilment of their enquiries
  • Order inputting, telephone answering, dealing with carrier delivery follow up, customer enquiries and assisting with our telemarketing campaigns
  • You will become responsible for the website order processing and all enquiries that follow from this income stream
  • A consistent, proactive approach to deliver outstanding customer experience is essential

Goals/targets of this role:
  • Learn thoroughly the various functions and systems associated with the software package we operate, the use of all office equipment, and the roles of the other staff members
  • Shadow the sales and admin departments and familiarise yourself with common procedures, take responsibility for the website sales processing and provide accurate reports
  • Handle the carrier follow up on a day to day basis and be the first point of call for any other customer enquiries and general needs
  • Complete monthly quotas of telemarketing calls, answer the telephone within 10 seconds
  • Understand how each area of the company interacts and affects the others including Work within the warehouse and operations area of the company to handle and learn about the products and procedures.
  • Work with everyone in the Team to live up to our Code of Conduct, help achieve our Vision, and enhance our Unique culture
  • The aim of the company is to significantly increase its presence in the marketplace over the next 3-5 years, in view of this you will need an in depth understanding of all the company procedures. You should also be expanding your technical knowledge of our product range, the website functions and be increasingly involved in its maintenance and development.

It is expected that further staff will be recruited in the coming years and it is our policy to promote managers from within the company where possible. If you are prepared and able for other staff to be given to you to manage as is required, you will be expected to report on a weekly/monthly basis to the MD and provide a sound, realistic report of those under your responsibility with their and your achievements.
