We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global Safety, Health & Environmental team in Wimborne on a maternity cover contract for 9-12 months.
As Safety, Health & Environmental Administrator, you will be responsible for the general administration in support of the Global SHE Manager and team, maintaining records, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the efficient preparation and updating of KPIs.
Key Responsibilities of Safety, Health & Environmental Administrator:

  • General administration in support of the Global SHE Manager and team.
  • Maintain records in relation to the Integrated Management System for ISO14001&ISO45001.
  • Management of the Health & Safety email address collating information and escalating as required.
  • Collation of Incident and Accident forms, liaison with management team to help ensure investigations are progressed quickly and effectively and transfer of data onto records and into reporting templates.
  • Preparation of Group SHE KPIs.
  • Updating Operations KPI Dashboard.
  • Maintaining site waste stream and utilities data.
  • Liaison with waste handlers regarding collection of waste including charitable donation for the National Community Repaint Network.
  • Sourcing and issuing of H&S and welfare equipment, PPE tracking and issuing to the Showrooms and Uddens based employees.
  • Monthly stocktake of PPE and Covid related products.
  • Maintaining training document files and preparing gap analysis.
  • Minutes taking and typing for the monthly H&S & Environmental meeting, the Group H&S Meeting and Group Environmental meeting and circulation.
  • Ensuring accurate filing of external documentation as required, prompting required testing and management system reviews.
  • Communication of H&S statistics and areas of focus via notice boards.

Your key Attributes:

  • Previous administrative experience essential
  • Motivated and able to use own initiative
  • A basic understanding and experience of H&S or the Environment would be advantageous, but full company training will be provided directly to assist in the above JD
  • Good I.T Skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, is essential
  • Good organisational and planning skills along with excellent communication, verbal and written.
  • Able to work from home as required, depending on current Government Guidelines in regard to Covid, with at least 1 to 2 days on-site if agreed.
  • Due to the sensitivity of some of the information able to be discreet.
