More About Your Role

You will provide a high quality and efficient service in roofing including built up felt flat roof work, slating tiling sheet lead work and flashing and other associated trades to our domestic housing property portfolio.

Health and Safety is very important to us, we provide a mandatory fall restraint system and training to ensure our roofers are safe when working on ladders and cat ladders, this is in addition to utilising Tower Scaffolds, Easi-Deck Access and also Full Scaffolds when required.

This is a fixed term role for 6 months covering a secondment, until 31st January 2022.

To be considered for this post you will have previous experience with repairs and fault finding to pitch roofs, felt flat roof works, slating, tiling, sheet lead work and flashings which are all essential. You should also have a basic level of competency with some basic joinery would be adventitious.

You will have the appropriate qualification for roofing and joinery, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds.

You will also be an effective communicator both written and verbal and will have experience delivering excellent customer service. You will receive your work schedule on an iPad and therefore you will need to be able to use this confidently.

Due to the operational travel involved in this role it is essential that you possess a full and current UK driving licence.
