We are currently seeking an experienced Robotic Process Automation Manager to join the Travelodge Development team. As an RPA Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development and implementation of automation projects using Intelligent Automation technology, including the detailed mapping and shaping of processes to enable automation. You will work closely with the Developer and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation, design RPA solutions, and oversee their successful execution.

This is a 12 month FTC

What’s it all about?

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of RPA projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, process owners, and IT teams, to identify and assess automation opportunities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the potential impact of RPA initiatives.
  • Detailed processes mapping and rebuilding of processes
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, task schedules, and milestones.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business teams to align RPA initiatives with strategic objectives./span>
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in Intelligent Automation.

What skills are required?

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager / Coordinator in Process Automation or software development, preferably with RPA experience
  • Experience in detailed Process Mapping and standardising processes
  • Knowledge of automation tools and technologies, such as UiPath or Blue Prism.
  • Familiar with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma or Agile.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing project risks and issues.
  • Project management certification, such as PRINCE2, is a plus.
  • Experience in business process automation
