Robot Welding Operator

£9.10 per hour plus shift allowance

Paid at Premium

39 hours per week

Start on days (Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30 pm & Fridays 07.30am to 12.30pm)

Once trained then 2 Shifts(6am - 2pm/2pm - 10pm)

Sandbach, Crewe

Contract to Permanent role working for a leading metal fabrication organisation.

4 Welding/Robot operators are required with knowledge of robot or production welding. Production welding with experience of basic welding or operating robot welding machines would be well received.

Due to new customers this client based in Sandbach Crewe requires 4 experienced, dynamic, leading welding operators to operate motoman robot welding machines.

As a Welding Operator To
      Operate Motoman arc welding machinery.

Prep steel using band saws and press machines

Working with steel and high value components.

Working from engineering drawings

Tack welding using MIG

Working individually and as a team

The welding operator should have the following skills or experience:
      Sheet metal background

Previous experience of working safely with robot machinery along with experience of operator panel layout and teach pendant layout desirable

Experience of reading and working to engineering drawings is desirable.
