Roadside Technician

Due to increasing success, we are looking to recruit a full time mechanic based at ALS Motor group in Carlisle, Cumbria. ALS Motor group is an independent family run business started in 2009 and pride ourselves on quality and efficiency.

You will be required to work on a variety of vehicles including LCV’s. You may be expected to conduct a roadside repair on the vehicle if not make arrangements to recover the vehicle based on the client needs. As a specialst in the industry working with the AA and the RAC we expect a high standard of work, we also expect professonal attitude towards work and the job that we do.

Shift pattern will be 4 on 4 off (various shift times available) A minimum level 3 Mechanical Qualification is required along with B & E car & trailer license, although Class 1/2 would be an advantage.

Company vehicle will be provided, ideal for candidates in Carlisle & surrounding areas such as Penrith & Cockermouth.

You will be rewarded with very competitive pay with the chance of overtime.

28 days paid holiday.

The ideal candidate will have the following;

. Full clean driving license with category B & E

. Hardworking

. Enthusiastic

. HGV Class 1 or 2 would be a benefit but not essential
