I am recruiting on behalf of my client in Coleshill for an Import Coordinator - road freight, we are looking for someone who has the following experience but will also consider candidates with a strong customer service background who is looking for their first role within the industry
  • Excellent communication skills – dealing with customers, keeping them updated, solving problems
  • Issuing and follow up customer quotes
  • Experience of import procedures gained in either a road or ocean import department
  • Knowledge of Import Clearance procedures
  • Experience of completing entries and shipping documentation as required
  • Attention to detail, adaptable and willing to learn
  • Commercial awareness with good negotiation skills
  • Charging files and passing invoices and dealing with queries
  • A team player keen to play a part in the success of the department
  • Good IT skills
