As a Revenue Analyst you will be responsible proactively analysing and articulating Carnival UK’s Commercial revenue management performance, taking a structured and forensic approach to trading results and projections. You will use a combination of internal and external sources to develop and deliver a compelling proposition of action.

The Role

The role of a Revenue Analyst will be working with the colleagues in the Commercial department challenging and supporting trading strategy to mitigate revenue risks and maximise opportunities, to identify and introduce new ways of delivering insight in a dynamic, relevant and appropriate manner, to a wide range of differing audiences, and to use proven analytical methods and skills to consistently improve and pioneer new ways of working.

By working with the Senior Revenue Analyst and Revenue Manager, this role will be proactively leading analysis on commercial trading and revenue management performance. Engaging both internal and external data sources to develop and present thought-provoking insights in a timely manner to all levels of audience through variety of formats.


About You

This could be your first role after graduating university, extension of revenue management background, or a new challenge and experience of a new industry, however you will naturally come from an analytical / statistical / numerical background and will have a relevant degree (or equivalent) in this area.

You’ll have experience and knowledge of analytical tools used in the industry, which can reduce the time taken to gain information from the data; you’ll be skilled in MS Excel and data manipulation to enable good commercial decisions to be made based on solid analysis and good manipulation of the data to provide insight and intelligence.

You will naturally be a team player and obsessed about providing excellent customer service to your stakeholders. You will have a positive ’can do’ attitude towards work combined with eagerness to learn and develop.

About the Team

Sitting within our P&O function with a goal of becoming Britain’s #1 holiday choice, the revenue management department manages the pricing of our products to make sure that the maximum revenue is obtained. The department also plans the destination and future itineraries of each of our ships, as well as managing our fly cruise offering and land products. This department is exceptionally commercial in nature and collaborates considerably with the wider business. Setting the strategy, vision and future for how the business will maximise revenues.
