Resourcing Administrator, 10 month fixed term contract

Kings Cross, London - we are currently working remotely and have a strong virtual on-boarding induction in place.

When it is safe to return to the office we have a Global Working From Home Policy which will be discussed during interview.

We are looking for a talented Resourcing Administrator to join our friendly HR Recruitment team in the UK. With our fully virtual on-boarding programme you will learn all there is to know about how a best practice in-house resourcing function works, with exposure to a wider HR projects. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to develop their career in an in-house recruitment / HR environment.

You’ll receive full training on employment contracts, in-house recruitment co-ordination, reporting, GDPR and eligibility to work in the UK verification compliance.

Working with your Recruiter colleagues, you’ll enjoy providing a first class administrative service to our business and candidates. You’ll be an organised, pro-active individual with the ability to work in busy environment with lots of opportunity to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Provision of efficient administrative support for dedicated business areas including;
Co-ordinating interviews
Arranging assessments
Preparing offer letters and contracts of employment
Updating the applicant tracking system; SuccessFactors
Ensuring all resourcing administration is GDPR compliant and with the company’s quality standards
Organising and storing data

Act as an ambassador for Springer Nature through providing a warm professional service with Hiring Managers, candidates and colleagues.
Take responsibility for the on-boarding eligibility to work in the UK verification check process
Manage full process post offer to on-boarding and start date and working with the wider HR team to ensure a successful on- boarding of new starters into the company.
Welcome new employees to Springer Nature by hosting the weekly HR Induction alongside HR Assistant colleagues.
Create a variety of HR reports (recruitment metrics/referral bonuses/office space etc.) for senior HR and business leaders.
Support freelancer administration process.
Check and process company invoices and investigating employee referral bonuses and invoices when necessary
Assisting with social media promotion of UK and global vacancies and promoting the Springer Nature working life /career through social media.
Provide any support required to the Head of Resourcing with our third party providers to help smoothly manage the Visa and Immigration processes for the company.
Ensure that Springer Nature’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion values are reflected throughout all work.
Help build on existing processes for Resourcing and wider Human Resources (HR) team plus contribute to the development of new ones to improve the service to both Hiring Managers and candidates.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

Proven office work experience.
Enthusiasm and passion to deliver exceptional service with a strong work ethic and team focus; prepared to go the extra mile to support the business and colleagues.
Excellent proven organisation, multi-tasking skills and enjoyment in building strong working relationships. Able to escalate issues as necessary to senior team members.
Good communicator, making sure tasks are clearly understood and taking personal responsibility for work. Strong attention to detail and ensure work delivered is accurate.
Highly computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Outlook and Word. Ability to learn new systems quickly.
Creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Social media savvy and able to bring and share ideas to promote the culture of Springer Nature.
Ability to deal with confidential information in a discreet manner
A degree is not essential for this role.
No professional qualifications are essential for this role.

Desirable

Any experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
Previous experience of working in a recruitment agency, internal recruitment function or HR support role.
