We are looking for an enthusiastic Residential Childcare Practitioner living close to the Whitchurch, Shropshire, to join a Children’s Residential provider rated Outstanding by OFSTED and looking for a fantastic opportunity. This permanent Children’s Residential Support Worker job vacancy may also suit candidates living close to Wrexham, Market Drayton, Wem, and other nearby areas.- £25.5K - £27.5K per annum DOE (includes sleeps).
  • Full-time hours, 173 hours per month including 7-8 sleeps per month.
  • 2 shifts on, 3 or 4 shifts off.

The Provider We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s provider who puts every child in their care at the heart of everything they do; and they provide therapeutic support to children aged between 7 -13 living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). They have an excellent track record of helping young people achieve their goals and their great location means that the young people have access to activities that they love which can vary from football or trampolining to cinema or music.   • Level 3 Diploma Residential Childcare not essential but must be willing to complete within 2-years.
  • You will ideally have experience working with children with EBD or disabilities in a residential or education setting.
  • You must have a positive, enthusiastic personality with a passion to support children.
