We are recruiting for a Full Time, Permanent, Maintenance Supervisor for a Specialist School / College which is in Dorset and just 20 minutes from Ringwood, Hampshire along the B3081 or 40 minutes from Bournemouth via the A338. Key Information- £25’900 - £30’000 per annum
  • Full-time, 40-hours per week.

  • Free parking on site. As our Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader you would be joining a fabulously friendly team. Your role will be to take responsibility for the maintenance and development of the College premises, supporting the team with Health & Safety measures and that the building and grounds are continuously fit for purpose. The job vacancy will include the supervision and management of the maintenance operatives on site, therefore experience of supervising a team is essential. Duties include:
  • Carry out regular site inspections, to ensure upkeep and maintenance of all areas.
  • Lead the maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Allocate daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Keeping accurate records of day-to-day maintenance.
  • Carry out supervisions and appraisals with your team.
  • Inspections, upkeep, and maintenance of all areas including buildings and outside areas.
  • Keeping accurate records.
  • Comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Carry out regulatory checks, e.g. fire systems, water monitoring, boilers, asbestos, vehicles etc
  • Supervise and oversee any contractors on site.
  • Attend site out of hours in an emergency.
  • You will work with the central estates department, supporting the development of the services through site expansion projects and integrating new/developed buildings.
