£18.000 to £20.500 PER ANNUM 2, 3 or 4 SHIFTS ON OFFER 9.30 am to 7:30 pm or 7:00 am to 7:00 pm SMALL RESIDENTIAL LEARNING DISABILITIES CARE HOMES HINDHEAD SURREY BREAKS PAID FOR Beautiful, homely, friendly Residential Learning Disability Care Homes based in Hindhead, Surrey (GU26) seek Residential Care Worker to join their well-played teams of health care professionals.

What Is The Job

As Residential Care Worker you will be comfortable providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities by helping service users with day to day tasks around the home, supporting them with preparing meals, putting on their washing, ironing, promoting good hygiene through personal care, encouraging them to take part in activities to improve their social skills and confidence, help with pocket money, appointments and with their shopping.
This is a rewarding work for a passionate Residential Care Worker with or without experience.
Previous care experience as Residential Care Worker would be useful, although not essential as full training will be provided to those applicants who show the right attitude and aptitude towards this type of work.
Desire to help vulnerable adults and encourage them to improve their skills, confidence and improve their life is a must.
You will be someone keen to learn new skills, who is flexible, with a great deal of common sense, able to build trust and a good rapport with the residents / service users and have a great impact on their lives in a positive way.
