Due to further expansion of the Renal home patient Service at York hospital, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Renal Assistant Technical Officer to support a small friendly technician team based in Facilities Management LLP in York Hospital
The department is responsible for the commissioning, service and maintenance of equipment to provide Renal Replacement Therapy within all areas that the service covers. This includes the main site at York, satellite units at Easingwold and Harrogate and a number of community locations including home patients.
A flexible approach to participation in duties that can only be carried out outside of normal working hours is expected.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have a mix of clerical / computer skills as well as practical abilities and be willing to participate in an in house training programme to acquire the necessary skills commensurate to the post.
