The ALD Automotive Customer Service function provides market leading Customer Care to ALD Customers, whether Fleet Managers, Drivers or Dealer & Broker Partners. Providing expert support for both the ALD brand and for our White Label and Banking Partners, the Customer Service function is crucial to protecting and growing the ALD brand within the UK market.

As a result of increased work load we’re currently seeking two additions to our Customer Support Re-marketing Team. Both roles will initially be offered as 9 Month Fixed Term Contracts however for those successful hopefully the first opportunity of many within the business.

Key purposes of the role

  • Assist with all areas of administration within the department within the Company’s Quality procedures
  • To direct vehicles through the inspection process system efficiently
  • Open & Close digital sales for Remarketing sales team

Summary of responsibilities

  • To make certain that quality, standards and complete customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
  • Raise Credits for returned items
  • Contact customers as required to arrange return of missing items
  • Assist with Internal Audits, reviews and stock checks of site returns
  • Collate all relevant information required for Permanent Supervision Controls
  • Ensure that all relevant details relating to any vehicle in termination is updated in all applicable system
  • Identify and report on areas for improvement and non-compliance to agreed processes
  • Manage V5 process within team – requesting, documenting & processing
  • Ad hoc projects

Essential criteria

  • Experience working in an administrative support environment
  • Good communication skills i.e. face to face, telephone, e-mail, report writing
  • Problem solving
  • Time management
  • Good standard in IT literacy with particular focus on Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Knowledge of BVRLA guidelines
