Hourly rate circa £11 -£13 per hour, dependant on experience.

Hours of Work:

Saturdays and Sundays 4.30am to 8am and/or 2.30pm to 6pm.

Flexibility will be required to ensure all duties are completed, job and finish. You will be paid for actual hours worked.

Due to the location of the role, applicants, should live within a reasonable travelling distance.

Main Duties

Opportunity to join the team on a Pedigree Jersey dairy farm, currently milking approximately 300 cows using a rotary parlour. The role involves milking and maintaining a high levels of cow health and hygiene:

Preparation of milking equipment prior to start up and shut down.

Milking cows adhering to Whiteoaks protocol.

All round maintenance of cow health and welfare.

Accurate record keeping

Monitoring treatment of cows.

Cleaning and sanitising of all parlour equipment.

Adhering Health and Safety procedures.
