We are currently working in partnership with a company based in the Caldicot area, who are actively recruiting for a Regulatory Product Safety Officer. They service a range of businesses manufacturing dyes and pigments.Benefits of Regulatory Product Safety officer role:Salary £35,000 to £40,000 p/a depending on experience.Working Hours - Monday to Friday, Hybrid working available37 hours per weekHoliday EntitlementJob purpose:Overall responsibility for the regulatory compliance and product safety management activities across all product range. Taking key business decisions for overall business success and driving operational excellence.Key Accountabilities:Provide regulatory and product safety support by filling customers completing questionnaires, statements e.g., REACH, ISO (Apply online only), Food contact plastics & inks.Gather information and review all product technical documentation for safety requirements.Prepare and file regulatory submissions in compliance with government guidelines.Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact.Prepare and file safety-related variations.Diagnose causes of customer complaints and give solution.Substance REACH & hazard risk assessment, Materials safety datasheet authoring, Hazardous labelling packaging & transport. PCN - Poison centre notificationFollow up critical risk assessment with supplier and internal team.Team working with internal departments in day-to-day tasks.Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.Discuss and provide weekly and monthly report of sales team.Candidate Requirements:Fluent in writing and spoken English.
