Location: Cardiff, South WalesSalary: £30,977 - £37, 618 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonusHours: Full Time or Part Time hours available - (options of 2, 3 or 4 shifts per week)Shifts: Days only, Nights only or Mixed shifts available. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day. Supporting Men and Women living with Learning disabilities and/or Mental Health needs across 22 beds. You will be working for an established, stable and agile company with a unique approach to the delivery of care. They are one of the UK’s leading providers for Mental Health care. Supporting both Men and Women on their pathway to recovery across it’s three single sex wards. The Service has a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. Job Role:As a Registered Nurse, RMN & RNLD, you will ensure all patients receive high-quality person-centred care, whilst also supporting your colleagues and promoting teamwork. Aiming to reduce the presenting Mental Health difficulties and offending behaviours in a low secure setting where risks can be managed and reduced to allow patients to step down into a less restrictive environment. Working within a multidisciplinary, you will use positive behaviour support ethos through all aspects of care provision, promoting compassion to enhance safety. Providing specialist assessment of risk, psychological needs and responsivity difficulties.Preceptorship Programme:The service has a strong commitment to provide support for newly qualified nurses. This is via a purpose built, structured and comprehensive preceptorship programme. The programme is completed over a 12-week period where you will be a fully supernumerary nurse. This allows you to fully immerse yourself into learning aspects of your new role, whilst having a nurse mentor to work alongside.
