I have an EXCITING opportunity for a Registered Manager to step in and manage a children’s residential service in Rushdon, Hertfordshire supporting young people between the ages of 12 – 18 with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

I am looking for candidates already in a Registered Manager position, with a record of maintaining at least a GOOD OFSTED RATING across their previously managed homes, looking to bring a new and fresh attitude to an already settled 4 bed home.

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 + £3,000 Annual Bonus!

Location: Rushdon, Hertfordshire (SG9 Postcode)

Hours: Full time

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday - 9:00 - 5:00

The ideal candidate will have a strong and enthusiastic approach to management, with experience in a Children’s EBD Residential setting. You will be proactive and committed, with a long term view to improving and maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Reporting to the Company Director & Operations Manager
  • Manage the staffing and rotas within the service
  • Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times
  • Ensure the service offers therapeutic care and support
  • Ensure the service is safe, efficient and performs well
  • Ensure the service meets and maintains Ofsted standards
ESSENTIAL Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Care Management
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience in Emotional Behavioural Difficulties in Children as a Registered Manager
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience as Registered Manager maintaining at least GOOD Ofsted rating
  • Safeguarding of Children experience
  • Understanding of Therapeutic Care
  • Full UK Drivers License
