Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manage CQC regulated activity ‘personal care’ for both children and adults
- To ensure that agreed quality assurances initiatives are implemented and monitored
- Liaise with social care regulators and local authorities to ensure satisfactory standards are maintained
- To provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users, making sure they are treated with dignity at all times.
- To comply with all regulatory requirements at all times and in particular the Regulations for the Registration and Inspection of Domiciliary Care
- To ensure policy and procedures are implemented and understood by all the staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
- To ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards
- To oversee and audit recruitment of carers, induction and training
- Work closely with the HR Department to ensure robust recruitment process
Experience Required:
- Previous experience of managing regulated activity of ‘personal care’
- Experience of working in a care home environment
- Knowledge and experience of managing safeguarding processes with both adults and children’s cases
Benefits and Hours
- Full time, (37 hours a week, Monday – Friday)
- This is a remote position and candidates can be based anywhere in England.
