Job Description
  • Provides leadership and direction of the regional sales team by providing support during the sales process as needed by team members.
  • Develops and implements regional business plans to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota.
  • Responsible for keeping the Area Sales Directors and Sr. Director of Sales informed of all sales related activity, market trends, highlights and competitor activity within the region.
  • Actively seeks to recruit and select talent through the consistent use of candidate screening and interviewing. Proactively collaborates with human resources and sales recruiting teams.
  • Pursues new business opportunities, new markets and acquisitions.
  • Accountable for running a profitable business by ensuring pricing integrity of all products as well as driving accuracy in order entry and shipment schedules.
  • Accountable for the effective management of product hardware.
  • Accountable for all record-keeping in accordance with Stryker requirements.
  • Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records.
  • Contributes to leading in product innovation by listening and working with others and contributing new ideas.
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrating teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity and providing a highly responsive and exceptional level of customer service.
  • Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.
  • Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement, participating in preventative maintenance and safety programs, strives for cost reduction, and commits to on-time, complete, and error free shipments.
