Salary£41,000 - £45,000 dependent upon experience plus company benefits

Hours40 hours per week Monday to Friday

The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities.

We are currently looking for a Regional HR Business Partner to provide regional HR support to our sites in the South East and East

The Role

We currently have day schools, as well as a children’s home and young adult’s home in this Region. The Geography spans Norfolk, South Cambridgeshire and Surrey. We are looking for an HR Business Partner to provide support and guidance and who is able to balance putting people at the heart of everything with commercial and business focused decision making.

As part of the Central HR Team and working closely with the Operations Director for the region and the Senior Leadership in each of these sites; your role will be to implement the group level strategic HR plan, projects and initiatives as well as the regional operational plans. You will also play a key role in supporting the governance and compliance of each site.

Our people lie at the heart of everything we do and our focus on employee wellbeing and engagement are central to our HR strategy and plans. In addition to coaching and providing practical high-level people management and development for managers; you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of the group’s wellbeing and engagement initiatives.

Each of your sites will be supported by local Business Managers and administrators who will need your guidance and on-going support.

As a rapidly growing company you’ll support the business with its people development strategy; and through effective utilisation of people metrics and other management information you’ll be a key voice in our expansion decision making.

The role will combine some days of home working with regular and appropriate site visits.

Experience

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate
  • Significant experience of working as a HR Business Partner
  • Excellent and up to date knowledge and understanding of employment law.
  • Excellent relationship management skills across a range of stakeholders at varying levels both internal and external
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
  • The ability to travel regularly to sites
