An opportunity has arisen to join the recruitment team of one of the UK’s leading education businesses, on a temporary basis to assist with the recruitment of a large number of temporary staff.

The role would be challenging and varied and would include: -

  • Screening applicants
  • Speaking to applicants on the phone
  • General office administration including excel
  • You may be asked to assist with interviews and assessments
  • Working with management and other sources to resolve conflict

The successful applicant will have experience within a busy office environment, have good IT skills, be highly organised and possess and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience within a Recruitment/HR setting or experience within a phone-based customer service or contact centre would be advantageous; however, this isn’t essential as full training and ongoing support will be provided. This role will consist mainly of making telephone calls to applicants.

The position will start mid-February and is expected to last 3-4 months, however there could be opportunities for strong applicants to stay with the business on a longer-term basis in another capacity. Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday and will be based broadly around office hours, however, overtime may be available.

Work Pattern

Standard 37.5 hours a week, office hours, Monday – Friday. You may be asked to work overtime during busy periods which will be paid at time and a half.
