Tenerity are recruiting for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join the team in Portsmouth on a fixed term contract basis up to 1 year.

What will I be responsible for?

As an Internal Recruiter, you will take responsibility for the proactive searching and sourcing of candidates using everything from job boards to social networking sites. You will be an ambassador for our business and convey our culture and values to applicants. You’ll proactively seek out high-calibre candidates for our wide variety of jobs including Contact Centre, support functions and management roles. Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Liaising with Hiring Managers to understand and identify recruitment needs
  • Creating advertising campaigns for job opportunities (internal and external)
  • Matching candidate CVs to job roles
  • Candidate screening, including telephone interviewing
  • Creating interview and assessment material
  • Conducting interviews and building candidate rapport
  • Giving feedback to candidates
  • Managing a high workload of multiple roles at different stages
  • Utilising the Applicant Tracking System
  • Supporting with pre-employment screening
  • Producing reports and completing some data analysis
  • Managing the full offer process, including production of contracts
  • Identifying new and innovative methods of sourcing quality candidates
Who are we looking for?

Bringing your skills as a recruiter, you will be a credible source of advice and knowledge to your hiring managers and be able to quickly build relationships with your key stakeholders. The ability to work independently, quickly solving problems with minimal supervision, is also paramount to the success of this role. As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
  • Previous recruitment experience either in-house or with an agency
  • Experience of using social media to build employment brand and recruitment campaigns
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Exceptional organisational and administration skills
  • First rate communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and be a forward thinker
