Job Description


Job Purpose

As a talented and ambitious Trainee, you will want to be challenged. It will come as no surprise that we choose our Trainees very carefully and have created a development environment to support you be the very best you can be.

Guided by managers and mentors, you will gain career-defining experience and deal with clients and customers at practically every level. How far and how fast you go really is down to you.

As a Trainee Recruiter, you will actively source and recruit the best talent in the market, pre-screen candidates and arrange interviews with hiring managers and maintain high levels of candidate experience.

Good academic credentials are important, of course, but you will also need to demonstrate a keen interest in recruitment, the operation of the business and have the initiative and drive to take on new challenges and work to tight deadlines. You need to love talking to people!

Key Responsibilities:

§ Engage in search campaigns to generate quality candidates at pace

§ Advertising jobs where appropriate on key jobsites

§ Communicate and qualify candidates for specific assignments

§ Assess candidate suitability for jobs through gauging interest levels and screening

§ Effectively market candidates to clients

§ Organise interviews with both the client and candidate

§ Offer management

§ Dissect briefs and get to the heart of what the client is looking for

§ Provide market intelligence

§ Use the appropriate technology

§ Involvement in wider Curve activities and projects


Qualifications


§ A commitment to developing a career in recruitment

§ Good written and oral communication

§ Resilience, pace and tenacity

§ Ability to engage in a positive way with candidates

§ Determination and drive

§ The intellect, flexibility, and sense of humour necessary to overcome difficulties

§ Energy and enthusiasm about Curve and our clients, but with the maturity and gravitas to be credible

§ Ability to use technology and appreciate its range and scope of commercial applications

§ Strong planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail are essential.

§ As part of the role you will be required to handle sensitive data and therefore pre- screening / vetting may be required

§ Ability to engage with our customers and delight them
