The Recovery Motivator role is designed to enable people who have lived experience of substance misuse and are passionate about helping others to take the first steps into employment with us.

The main function of the Recovery Motivator role will be to be a welcoming and consistent face in the open access reception area and to signpost service users within East Sussex communities to relevant support agencies, so good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Recovery Motivators will work with those who are directly impacted by their own substance misuse and the people who care for them, family members and friends; as well as working with key partners to empower communities.
