Oakland International are a multi-temperature supply chain logistics specialist and an ethical family business.
We are looking for a hands-on individual to work as an experienced Receptionist and someone who enjoy a challenge, can use their own initiative, working proactively on their own and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be based at our Bardon, Coalville Site in Leicestershire, which currently employs approx. 250 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a new opportunity working within the food industry and wanting to develop their career.
The successful candidates will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 12.30pm and 5pm and be available to cover annual leave and ad hoc cover for job share receptionist working opposite shift.
Receptionist Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at reception and ensure appropriate paperwork is completed
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via /email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Perform other clerical receptionist/HR duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning confidential documents and data input as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational needs
- Has a positive can-do attitude
- Experience within a similar role
