You will manage a team responsible for the development and improvement of a portfolio of automated immunoassay products. This guarantees the application of scientific and statistical principles to design, conduct, and analyse multi-variable experiments.

You will ensure the successful transition of newly developed/improved products from the R&D organisation to manufacturing at Llanberis, Wales.

You will manage a team responsible for assay development, method enhancement and improvement project(s) on automated immunoassay systems. Your team will also certify that they work with cross-functional team members to develop and define product performance requirements.

In addition, you must make sure the team applies scientific and statistical principles to design, conduct and analyses multi-variable experiments. You’ll also make sure the appropriate data analysis, data presentation, planning, technical protocols, and reporting is in place for each project.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate or graduate in a science discipline
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in immunoassay at the management level from within the industry
  • Management or supervisory experience. Evidence of experience in project management and project delivery
  • Proven managerial ability with excellent communication skills. Able to communicate technical information both verbally and in writing
  • Familiar with statistical analysis and design of experiments and has good PC skills
