We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Facilities Management Team based in Basingstoke. Within this role, you can enjoy a Company Car or Car Allowance, Enhanced Pension contributions, Enhanced holiday days and even more.


Location: Basingstoke - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know


Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working within the MoJ and Home Office Technical Services contracts, supporting them in providing robust commercial support to meet Kier’s medium to long term objectives..

Your day to day will include:

  • Producing accurate tender evaluations of values between £100k - £1m;

  • Produce accurate profitability reports and monthly detailed Cost plans for the Senior Quantity Surveyors approval.

  • Producing subcontract agreements for all contracts above £250k, and then subsequent management of the Apps and Certs approval process


What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • Have a Quantity Surveying degree with quantity surveying experience within the Construction or Government FM industry

  • Have experience of working on or producing estimates from the National Schedule of Rates

  • Have the ability to manage and assist with the development of our Junior QS.
