(Junior) Quantity Surveyor

Location: Crawley - Gatwick, United Kingdom

Package: Up to £45,000, dependant on experience

Working Model:5 Days In Office

Our client is a Data Centre Consultancy who are experts in sustainable design, delivery and operational management of business critical infrastructure with over 40 years experience in consultancy, design, operations and management.

They are a global data centre specialist providing services to support the data centre lifecycle for end users and operators. They have led the way in developing solutions and services, to enable the ever-changing ICT landscape and the growth of digitalisation, which are innovative, sustainable and commercially viable.

The (Junior) Quantity Surveyor will provide crucial commercial support to the business, including the Delivery and Operational Services teams. You will report into the Finance Director and be responsible for the financial management of contracts involving the establishment and maintenance of relationships with Clients & Consultants and including preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts, identification and evaluation of variations etc.

The jobholder will work closely with unified teams to ensure projects are delivered in a controlled manner, on time and to budget. You will also be focused on the delivery of business objectives and K.P.I’s.

Key Skills and Duties

  • Preparation, processing and issuing of

o purchase orders

o sub-Contract invoices

o sub-contract order documentation

o pre-sale procurement schedule including issue of RFP’s when required

o client variations

o client monthly applications

o revenue allocation documentation

o supply chain/sub-contract site instructions downstream

o contract sale invoices

o pre-tender start meeting with Keysource supply chain prior to issue of sub-contract orders
