What’s it all about?

We are looking for a Quality Improvement professional who can lead on the assurance and improvement of delivery across the Prison Education Framework contract. The post holder will be responsible for designing quality interventions and communicating them effectively within the team to ensure that they are implemented. They will take responsibility for agreeing and implementing quality strategies and training solutions. This person will also support Education Managers to raise standards of delivery within an agreed allocation of prisons and ensure that delivery meets PeoplePlus quality standards and external accreditation requirements. This is a fixed term secondment for 6 months.

How can you stand out?

You should have a passion for what you do and a desire to always do your best. A PCGE or equivalent learning and development qualification is essential along with extensive knowledge of what high quality delivery looks like in the context of prison education and training. You should have the ability to deal professionally and tactfully with difficult situations and have excellent organisational and time management skills. You will need to be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to travel to carry out the requirements of the role, given the remote nature of the prison sites, an driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
