Position Summary


We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Lead to join our dedicated quality assurance team in Bromborough, Wirral.

A day in the life of a Quality Lead


Reporting directly to the Factory Quality Manager you will provide support to produce safe, compliant, and ‘First Time Right’ products and minimise losses through shop floor presence, coaching and verification. You will provide effective leadership to 4 direct reports within the quality assurance team.


Further duties and responsibilities include:


  • Ensure quality measures are reported and actions are taken to drive improvement.
  • Ensure GMP (Good manufacturing practice) is maintained at the required standard for the area
  • Carry out continuous improvement activities using EDPS (Every Day Problem Solving).
  • Contribute to the development of quality competence.
  • Ensure the successful management of quality incidents to minimise negative impact to the business.
  • Carry out root cause analysis related to incidents and ensure corrective actions are closed out.

What will make you successful?

  • University graduate or equivalent (preferred science related).
  • Experience within an environment committed to continuous improvement
  • Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programmes
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, products and their norms.
  • Leadership and people development skills.
