We are recruiting on their behalf for several experienced Quality Engineers to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, to support all activities pertaining to shop floor production operations.
These positions are available due to continual company growth and great success, so there has never been a better time to join.
This is a full time, permanent position and on offer is the ability to secure an early shift:
Monday – Friday 06:00am – 14:00pmorafternoons Monday – Friday 14:00pm – 22:00pm.
You will be offered a salary up to £42K which is pending relevant experience, plus excellent company benefits.
We are looking for experienced Quality Engineers that can demonstrate previous experience in a manufacturing environment, who can bring professionalism and a great eye for detail to a demanding production environment.
Candidates must have experience of Quality assurance system implementation and maintenance (ISO9001) and be able to demonstrate a strong background in manufacturing.
Quality Engineer main duties:
· Inspecting manufactured items both during the manufacturing process and on completion of manufacture before the items are delivered to customers
· Carrying out component inspection using a selection of manual measuring equipment
· To process first-off inspection components in an efficient manner, in order to determine if the product meets approved design data and quality control requirements
· Assist in the completion of FAI reports as required
· Complete the required inspection and process records and management records required by the company
· Conduct Goods receiving inspection of items that require inspection and notification of products unsuitable for processing
· Raise Non-Conformance reports for products that don’t conform to specification and register each NCR for subsequent analysis
· Managing Customer returns by means of inspection reports raising NCR and recording on the company data base
· Conduct final product inspection, ensuring all process stages have been duly signed off
Quality Engineer required skills and experience:
· Relevant previous experience as a Quality Engineer/Technician within a busy Manufacturing environment.
· An understanding of operating integrity, quality processes and systems with high standards for compliance and quality.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisation skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
· Understanding of team dynamics, demonstrating the ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team with a professional enthusiastic attitude.
· Able to work on your own initiative, but to also as a team member.
· Able to maintain a professional manner with a high attention to detail.
· In-depth knowledge industry regulations and manufacturing quality procedures
· Strong research and analytical skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
· Strong authority – able to implement change and enforce Quality procedures within a busy manufacturing environment
